Flames – is our Youth Ministry for ages of 10 – 17 years. Formerly called Ignite, hopes to see youths transformed into the image of our Lord Jesus Christ and fulfill their purposes and destinies. We hope to support youths in this developmental stage in every way enabling them to be well rounded and balanced adults in society.
The purpose of Flames can be summarized into these SIX main purposes for the youth church.
I – IMITATE God
G – GROW into Disciples
N – NURTURE Spiritual Fruits / Gifts
I – INCREASE Faith
T – TEACH the Word
E – EQUIP for Life and Ministry.
1.) To imitate God. Ephesians 5:1.
2.) To manifest in the spiritual gifts of God. 1 Corinthians 12:7
3.) To have increased faith in God. Luke 17:5.
4.) To be built up by the Lord to offer spiritual sacrifices. 1 Peter 2:5.
5.) To walk blameless with the Lord. Genesis 17:1.
6.) To manifest and live as children of Light. 1 Thessalonians 5:5, Ephesians 5:8 and Ephesians 5:13.
7.) To be holy in all our conducts, just as God is holy. 1 Peter 1:15.
8) To Reach out to Non-Christian Youth in our town with the gospel
Flames works extensively to ensure that we achieve the above through the following activities.
